Adding detailed filters to form was created by hanisultan
When I create a Record/table I get great filters when I'm in the table mode, I can filter on each column using custom filtering which is a great tool. But when I switch to Record mode, I only get a look up search tool. I know this might be difficult to implement but it would be a great tool to have the same filter for the Record mode too. Because when in table mode, user can modify any data but in record mode they can't. So I can prevent the user from altering the data and at the same time giving the user a powerful tool to filter record. Hope this makes sense. Thank you

What if we show grid at the top and record at the bottom?

Well, if you showed the grid then they can change data in any column right? Even tho, the screen would be too long and the user would have to scroll up and down and you know how average users feels about systems. If possible, implement the filters on the Record mode so we don't have to give them access to the grid and allow them to change data, unless you have a way to lock the data from being changed in the grid/table mode?

We can make grid read only, I think it is a better option implementing separate filter for record mode will take too much time

I agree it would take too much time. If you can give me the option to make the grid (table mode) read only, that would be even better. But we still need a way to have the user modify some fields in the record view/mode
