Visual Importer ETL Introduction

Visual Importer ETL was our first ETL software product. Since then, we have developed Advanced ETL Processor , which is fully compatible with Visual Importer ETL and offers significantly more features. For new users, we recommend Advanced ETL Processor .

Visual Importer ETL is a codeless ETL tool with two main components: a data import engine and an automation engine.

Import Example

The transformation engine converts data from one format to another, such as a text file to an Excel file. A typical transformation consists of four key elements: a reader, a validator, a transformer, and a writer. Data flows sequentially from left to right through these stages.

Automation Example (Package)

Automation Package consist of actions. Action represent a single step of work. For example copy file or send email. Every package has a stating point. Action has two execution statuses Failure or Success. Once action execution is completed next action is executed depending on the execution status.

The best way to learn our ETL software is to watch video’s. They are very shot and designed to explain one function. Documentation provides more detailed information.
