Number transformation functions in Advanced ETL Processor allow you to calculate, modify, and evaluate numeric values during data transformation. Use these functions to perform arithmetic calculations, round numbers, generate sequences and random values, and apply conditional transformations based on whether numbers are positive, negative, integers, or within a specified range.

Abs

Returns absolute value of a number

Add

Adds several numbers together

Divide

Divides numbers

If Integer

Checks if the data is an integer

If Negative

Checks if the data is a negative number

If Number

This function checks if the data is a number

If Number Between

Checks if the data is a number between two values

If Number Less Than

Checks if the data is a number less than value

If Number More Than

Checks if the data is a number more than value

If Positive

Checks if the data is a positive number

Multiply

This function multiplies numbers

Random Number

This function returns a random number within the range 0 <= X < Range

Round

Reduces the number of significant digits in a number

Sequence

Returns a number incremented by one starting from “Start With” value

Sign

Returns sign of numeric value -1 for negative values, 1 for positive values and 0 for 0
